For more than a decade, IIDE has built a track record of helping learners build careers in marketing and business. That journey now includes 12,000+ alumni and 7,200+ placements overall, with 93.3% of placement-eligible students placed in 2025–26.
So, what did IIDE placements look like in 2025–26? Here are the numbers, recruiters and career journeys from the latest placement cycle.

Working professionals earn more on average. That's not surprising; they're negotiating with prior work experience behind them.
The fresher numbers are also worth paying attention to. A ₹10.5 LPA ceiling and a ₹4.8 LPA average, for someone walking in with zero work experience, is not a small result.
Types of Placement Offers
- 75%+ of offers were full-time roles or pre-placement offers (41% full-time, 37.3% PPO). Only 21.7% were internships.
- Top roles: Social, Content & Creative and Performance Marketing, followed by Generalist Marketing, Client Servicing & BD, and Analytics & AI.
That 75%+ figure matters. Most of what counts as a placement here is a real job, not a short internship padding out the total.

Several recruiters hired multiple students during the placement cycle, including PivotRoots and Publicis Groupe, with 25 hires each.
A company doesn't hire 25 people from one institute in a single cycle by accident. Agencies that size run a tight ship. If the last batch hadn't worked out, they wouldn't be back for another 25. The repeat hiring from leading agencies and brands reflects their continued demand for IIDE talent.
Other agencies include:
Omnicom Group, Schbang, Ogilvy, Starcom, Madison World, Saatchi & Saatchi, LS Digital, RepIndia, Grapes, Hakuhodo, Team Pumpkin, Digitas, DigiDarts, and AdLift.
On the brand side, some of the notable names are:
● D2C and beauty: Zepto, Purplle, Traya, Pilgrim, mCaffeine
● FMCG: Colgate-Palmolive, Dabur
● Platforms and media: JioHotstar, Swiggy, Nykaa
● Shark Tank brands: The Health Factory
● B2B: Siemens, Cognizant, WebEngage

IIDE Career Outcomes Go Beyond Placement
A placement is one outcome. A career can take many other directions too.
Some learners moved into new roles, some switched careers, while others built audiences or worked on their own businesses.
All of that shows up in this year's report.

Some of these career transitions began outside marketing.
Roshni’s journey stands out because it shows that a career change does not always mean starting from zero. After 12 years in IT, she was able to carry her professional experience into a completely different career path.
Career Growth
Getting the first job is one milestone. Long-term career growth is another.

Kunal Gwari |
Creative Copywriter at Kinnect → Copywriting role → Content Marketing at boAt |
These journeys show that career growth can take different forms: not always as a straight promotion, but through better roles, larger responsibilities and moves across brands.
Content Creation Is Another Career Outcome
Marketing skills are also useful when the audience being built is your own.
These are four different creators building audiences in different spaces, showing that the same understanding of content, audiences and platforms can be applied beyond a conventional job.
Some Learners Chose to Become Job Creators
Some learners did not opt for placements at all.
Instead, they chose to build something of their own. That is one of the outcomes worth being proud of because the goal was no longer to become a job seeker, but to become a job creator.
- Some learners launched their own businesses and have scaled their annual revenue beyond ₹1 crore.
- Others applied what they learned to an existing or family business. Learners have a track record of using the program learnings to digitise a family business within six months and roughly doubled its revenue in the process.
The point is simple: Career outcomes do not always end with a job offer.
