Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some of the more popular queries regarding our programs, along with their answers:
A 3-year undergraduate programme where you learn how to build and grow digital businesses. You'll study marketing, AI, analytics, and entrepreneurship , through real projects and live campaigns, not just textbooks. There are two tracks so you can pick the one that fits you.
The University-Aligned track: You get a B.Com or BBA from one of our 6 partner colleges in Mumbai, with IIDE's digital curriculum built into your degree. The Industry-Aligned track: A more intensive 3-year track at IIDE's Andheri Campus, where you build live ventures from semester 1, and you can pursue any degree from any college alongside it.
The University-Aligned track is for students who want a structured college degree with modern, job-ready skills. The Industry-Aligned route is for students who want to build something real from day one and still walk away with a degree. If you're here to learn, pick University-Aligned. If you're here to build, pick Industry-Aligned.
A regular B.Com teaches you how business works. This teaches you how it works right now, digital, AI-driven, and fast-moving. You graduate with the same degree, plus real skills and a portfolio that most people spend their first few years of work trying to build.
It covers everything from idea to MVP, unit economics, GTM strategy, fundraising basics, pitching to investors, and building AI-first businesses. You don't just study these, you apply them to a real venture you build during the program, with mentorship from founders who've actually done it.
No. The Industry-Aligned track is for students who want to build - whether that's your own startup, your family business taken digital, or a senior role at a top brand or startup. The skills are the same. What we look for is the mindset.
Brand Manager, Performance Marketer, Growth Strategist, E-Commerce Manager, Social Media Lead, Content Strategist, D2C Operator, Digital Agency Lead, Founder , and more. Yes. Both tracks include LinkedIn profile building, AI-assisted resume creation, mock interviews, and direct introductions to hiring partners. Track 2 students also get founder coaching, pitch practice, and investor introductions.
Anyone who has completed (or is appearing for) their 12th boards - commerce, science, or arts. Track 2 also has an aptitude assessment and personal interview as part of the process.
Track 1 has 360 seats across 6 colleges (60 per college). Track 2 has just 60 seats - kept small on purpose, so every student gets a strong peer group and a quality experience.
Talk to a counsellor. It's a free, 15-minute conversation with zero pressure. They'll help you figure out which track fits you. Some decisions are too important to make from a webpage alone.
