IT Foods was first established in the year 1990, under the name of Inter tropic foods co, later on, it expanded its business by joining IT Foods industries Co., Ltd. It was a new establishment in the year 1992. The company is located at Samut Sakhon Industrial Estate. Samut Sakhon province is the centre of Thailand.

The factory size is over 5 located in the Industrial Estate in Samut Sakhon Province. IT Foods Industries Co., Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers & exporters of frozen products in Thailand. They export to many countries under the customer’s private brands. The main markets are Asia, North America, the European Union, and Oceania. 

The IT Foods Industries Co., Ltd. is associated with TTFA – Thai Frozen Foods Association. IT Foods segments its customers into young generation people, gen Y and middle-class people.

IT Foods a Frozen foods industry targets the young generation, millennials, (gen Y), children, and also low middle-class individuals.

The IT Foods Industries Co., Ltd. is one of the best leading and known manufacturers and exporters of frozen food products in Thailand for more than 29 years.

IT Foods industries took an initiative to share a smile to the women of the old age home since 22 february 2019. IT Foods provided foods, drinks, other items and money to the women who are living without the family in the homeless center, this campaign is still going. This campaign is very successful and it is providing a smile to many homeless womens.

IT Foods placed their stall in THAIFEX- World Of food Asia on 2019 May 28-june1. They delivered a special presentation on the different types of frozen foods they produce and imparted awareness of their global capabilities & services, which were highly appreciated by the audience. They got the opportunity to interact directly with their customers about their products. In the end, they got positive reviews from their customers. 

Mangrove forest rehabilitation and restoration project

IT Foods Industries co. Ltd joined “The Mangrove forest rehabilitation and ecosystem restoration project Led by Mr Wichian Bumrueruk (Managing Director) and employee held on June 29th, 2018. This project was organized with Global Utilities Service Company Limited (Gusco) to give knowledge about how to grow mangroves and copse woods. All the staff got this project and they felt very fruitful and knowledgeable. 

Social Media Marketing

As the marketing field has become digitized everywhere, social media plays a vital role in promoting the products of a company. IT Foods uses Facebook as its main social media platform to promote its products among customers worldwide. IT Foods post about its projects, new launched products, achievements and future plans on its social media.

I.T Foods are not so active in social media marketing, as they prefer to reach their customers directly and through their word of mouth. It will be better if IT Foods starts to be more active on social media to gain more customers’ attention. 

SEO Strategies

Marketing Strategy of IT Foods

The number of organic keywords in search engines stands at 84 as of now. This indicates the organic keywords level of their website is extremely low. The organic monthly traffic of the IT Foods website is also very low and only 8 visitors are seen per month. Hence a developed approach has to be undertaken by the company in developing their SEO strategy.

Influencer Marketing

Influencer Marketing is used by a company when they have an ambassador of their own to promote their products.

IT Foods Co., Ltd have no such influencer for their marketing strategy, as they are not dependent on any external agencies for marketing their products. Instead, they rely on their way of traditional marketing platforms. 

E-commerce Strategies

I.T Foods Co., LTD doesn’t have an online selling portal for its products. However, their focus is mainly on traditional marketing which still depends upon the wholesaler and retailer markets and B2B business system. 

Companies that sell products or services to various businesses or companies normally use B2B marketing strategies. But it will be better if they will start an eCommerce platform so that it will increase their credibility in front of their customers.

Mobile Apps

I.T Foods Co., Ltd have not developed any mobile apps on their own, as they had not felt any need for them. They largely target the local customers for marketing their products and they directly reach their customers. IT Foods lacks this part of marketing, it will help the company if they will develop the mobile apps and interact with customers directly regarding their products. 

Content Marketing Strategies

Content marketing is a marketing strategy used to entice, engage, and secure an audience by creating and sharing relevant articles, videos, podcasts, and other media. This strategy establishes expertise, promotes brand knowledge, and keeps your business top of mind when it’s time to buy what you sell.

IT Foods focuses on other content strategies like conferences and exhibitions since they direct their content to other businesses and not directly to the public. They excel in blog writing for awareness of their company. IT Foods’s social media content strategy isn’t strong. They post rarely on Facebook and they aren’t active on Youtube.
