Targeting

In marketing, targeting is a method that divides a broad market into smaller groups to focus on a specific segment of that audience. It isolates a customer niche based on their distinct qualities and caters entirely to them. GNFC is a separate division for fast-moving consumer goods which is called FMCG.

Positioning

Positioning is where your product (item or service) stands about other similar items and services on the market, as well as in the consumer’s mind.

Marketing Campaigns

Marketing campaigns are a variety of media to advertise items, including television, radio, print, and online platforms. Demonstrations, video conferencing, and other interactive tactics can be used in campaigns that are not exclusively based on advertising.

In 2015 the minister of chemicals and fertilisers mandated that all urea sold in India need to be 100% neem coated. GNFC took this on hand to make it a socio-economic project which involves the rural poor with a special focus on women empowerment. They aim to improve the livelihood prospects and generate income through the neem project. Today, the project is active across 22 districts of Gujarat. The project has been a fair process throughout the entire value chain.
