Digitalization in healthcare industry for Prarambh
Mode of Training: Online
A Glimpse of the Training
The Challenge
For the last 2 years, many sections of the community including Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) are struggling. Since traditionally these non-profit organizations have relied on offline activities and drives to spread awareness, the post-Covid era has made it impossible for them to continue with the same approach. Digital awareness and outreach methods have many benefits including cost-effectiveness and precise targeting, which makes them far more appealing in the longer run. As a result, many Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) were eager to go online.
The Solution
In an attempt to grow their online presence during Covid, several Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) and Non-Profit Organizations such as the Indian Cancer Society(ICS), Organization for Rare Diseases (ORD), CureSMA India and V Care Foundation partnered with IIDE to learn digital skills. Project Prarambh is an initiative spearheaded by IIDE supported by Pfizer India to help upskill the non-profit sector with the latest digital skills.
We completed an 18-hours training program with members from various organizations. Our experts customized a Digital Marketing training for the participants on how they could continue to spread and create awareness even when the world was forced to stay indoors. The module covered topics like Sensitizing PAGs to possibilities in the Digital Space, Best practices for Website Management to build donor confidence and support ease of payment, Influencer Marketing, Video Marketing etc.
The Result
95% of the participants believed the training was relevant to them and helped them develop their digital campaigns. They were able to conduct more online webinars involving highly specialized doctors and researchers from across the world due to the new digital skills that helped them expand their reach in a highly cost-effective manner.
