A Glimpse of the Training
The Challenge
Mahindra Rise is a multinational utility vehicle company dealing in SUVs, commercial vehicles and more. With an increasing number of online enquiries for the purchase of new cars, Mahindra wanted to scale up its efforts and presence on digital platforms.
The Solution
Mahindra decided to up-skill their Area Sales Managers (ASMs) with Digital Skills to make the most out of inbound online enquiries. ASMs are responsible for leading and coaching Mahindra dealers to ensure dealers meet their targets and provide the necessary support for the same.
Mahindra collaborated with IIDE to train their ASMs on:
- Driving awareness amongst the right user
- Engaging prospects on social platforms
- Educating customers to ease the decision-making process
- Capturing the power of digitization to get more sales
IIDE created a customized ‘Digital Sales’ programme to meet Mahindra’s needs and was able to establish the ASMs as digital leaders. This was done by enabling ASMs to have an active presence on Social & Search platforms
Marketing Managers from across the globe were trained virtually on Zoom. The 20+ hours training program was spread over 1.5 months to ensure better understanding and retention of content amongst the learners.
The Result
150 Mahindra ASMs became well-versed with commonly used marketing tools and jargon and were able to utilize them in their day-to-day efforts.
Paid Facebook Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) were the most highly appreciated topics taught.
Furthermore, 92% of the trainees voted that they observed an 80% improvement in their job performance
93% of the participants believed the training was relevant to their work and aided them in developing their digital strategies
