Structure of Agency

  • IIDE – Indian Institute of Digital Education hosted a guest session with Prachi Bali – National Head – Client Partnerships & Business Head – North at FoxyMoron on Structure of Agency. Prachi started with an introduction about Zoo Media and 7 different agencies under the media house with a little brief about each of the agencies.
  • Prachi took us through 7 points that typically an agency does for its client right from creating awareness; To standing out from the competition; Attracting & Educating current and new customers; Increasing sales and ROI, and supporting the brand’s business operation. Along with this, she cited all the different types of agencies, their functionalities, and a general hierarchy followed by most agencies.
  • Prachi advised new marketers to do as many internships in the early days as possible in different sectors so a person knows what type of responsibilities a role has and in what field one is interested. She also advised to focus and join agencies where one can learn more and at the end define interest between mainline and digital agency because each type requires a different skill set.
  • She encouraged young learners to think in a more ‘solution-oriented’ way for the brands and be dynamic as per the situation and the objective. Prachi ended the session with an inspiring open from Rudyard Kipling which taught us no matter what happens we must always keep working hard.
