At IIDE, student the chance to express all their sides, from creativity to entrepreneurial spirit. 50 students pitched us their ideas, and we shortlisted 28 other students based on the business ideas they pitched. These students were clubbed into 7 teams. Every team comprised of a Coder who coded the app, a Designer who designed the UI-UX of the app as well as designed the brand identity and a Digital Marketer worked on the marketing plan of the app. These teams had 10 days to analyse a problem and come up with a solution and a working prototype of the solution. Each team was judged on various criteria that included the quality of the idea, the monetisation plan, the functionality of the prototype, and the practicality and scalability of it.
The solutions and their prototypes were judged by a high-profile external jury from some of the top companies on 3rd February 2020. The winners got a cash prize of ₹25,000 as well as co-working space to work on their startup.
