Bikhchandani launched Naukri.com in April 1997 with assistance from his friends and brother. It then created Jeevansathi.com in 1998, 99acres.com in 2005 and Shiksha.com in 2008. In 2018, Naukri.com accounted for over 70% of the company’s total revenue.

It also had minority investments in 23 other online businesses as of September 2020, including two unicorns: the meal delivery service Zomato (15.23% stake as of July 2021) and the insurance aggregator Policybazaar (13.3% stake as of November 2021). Info Edge is said to have invested in Policybazaar in 2008 prior to the introduction of its website and was one of the first investors of Zomato, which was then known as FoodieBay.

Failed campaigns of InfoEdge

Info Edge-Owned Naukri Websites Face Outage For Over 11 Hours

Info Edge, an online classifieds company based in Noida and the owner of Naukri.com, notified the stock markets on June 7 that there were intermittent disruptions on its websites for more than 11 hours. The corporation stated that it does not anticipate that these sporadic interruptions will have a significant effect on its main business operations. The cause of these disruptions was not disclosed by the company.
