Post Graduate Programme in Digital Design - Application Guidelines

A student applying for any Post Graduate Program at IIDE will have to follow the below-mentioned procedure to complete the application.
Please note - It would be ideal to apply for the program using a laptop/desktop

  • Step 1 - Fill in the Application Form

  • Apply by filling up the application form. Fees of INR 1000 (inclusive of taxes) need to be paid online to purchase the application form
    Mode of Payment - Online Credit/Debit card

  • After you pay the application fee you will receive the application form link in the email

  • Mentioned below are details that you will require in hand while filling up the form -

    • PAN & AADHAR card details
    • Qualification details (Last available Marksheet)

  • Step 2 - Take the IIDE Admissions Test (IDAT)

    • Appear for Online Admissions Test
    • Duration - 60 minutes
    • Questions - 6 questions (Subjective)
      Questions asked are based on aesthetics, creativity, aptitude, communication, acumen, general knowledge & current affairs to gauge students vision & interest in Designing
    • Submit the test & wait to hear back from us

  • Step 3 - Personal Interview

  • All applications are thoroughly reviewed by the admissions committee. Shortlisted students will be called for a personal interview in 5 working days.
    (Note - Students residing in Mumbai will have to come to IIDE Campus at Andheri for their personal interview and students residing out of Mumbai will have to appear for a personal interview via Skype/Hangouts)

  • For the personal interview, students are expected to dress formally, carry their laptops, read recent updates on the respective program they are applying for and carry the hardcopy of documents mentioned under step 5

  • Students who wish to apply for Scholarships will have to mention the same during their interview with the Admissions Committee. The application will only be considered if the applicant has met the Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

  • If the applicant has met the scholarship eligibility criteria, a 30 minutes test will be given to the student after the personal interview round

  • Eligibility criteria for a scholarship at IIDE are -

    1. Students who have scored 75% and above or have a CGPA score of minimum 7.5 on 10 in the last appeared exam can apply
    2. Students who have appeared for any competitive entrance exams and have scored 70% & above can apply
      (XAT, MAT, CAT, CET, NMAT, GMAT & GRE)

  • Students who want to apply for financing option are requested to inform IIDE’s admission committee during the personal interview

  • Step 4 - Application Review

  • After successful completion of the personal interview/scholarship test, qualified applicants will receive a letter of admission via email and call from IIDE’s admissions committee within 3 working days

  • If a student has applied for the scholarship then it may take upto 14 working days for IIDE’s admission committee to declare the result

  • If the applicant is granted a scholarship, the revised fee structure for the same will be shared on mail
    (Note - Upto 30% of total tuition fee will be granted as Scholarship)

  • Step 5 - Confirming your Admission

  • If a student has been accepted for the program applied then, the applicant has to pay the registration fee/full fees in 7 working days after receiving confirmation from IIDE

  • Submit a photocopy of all the documents as proof at the time of admission

    List of documents -
    1. PAN Card
    2. AADHAR Card
    3. Qualification certificate/mark-sheet supporting eligibility
    4. Experience Letter or Relieving Letter or Confirmation Letter supporting your work experience at said company/companies

Important information:

  • Application form fees of INR 1000 once paid are non-refundable/non-transferrable in any scenario
  • IIDE reserves the rights to accept/reject the applicant’s application
  • Plagiarism check for the test will be done by IIDE’s academic committee and if suspected, relevant questions will be asked to students during the personal interview or the candidate may be rejected
  • Registration/Admission/Tuition fees once paid are conditionally refundable up to certain days and certain amounts. Read the refund policy under terms & conditions
  • Fees paid for one program cannot be transferred to another program or to another person
  • If a student wants to apply for batch transfer, he/she will have to pay a batch transfer fee. Read the batch transfer policy under terms & conditions
